Symbio is an external 160GB hard drive that works with the control functions in all 2004 Toshiba Integrated HDTV models. There is a simple one-wire connection utilizing the TV's IEEE 1394 port. Symbio utilizes the TV Guide On Screen system in the TV to allow for simple one touch recording of both standard and high definition TV content. The TV also has controls for pausing and rewinding live TV for total viewing flexibility.
